Considered one of the most impactful immersive productions on the international scene in recent years, the exhibition will arrive in València for the first time after touring cities such as Madrid, Vienna, Berlin, Beijing, London, Brussels and Barcelona, welcoming more than one million visitors worldwide.
The largest immersive experience about Pompeii
Created by Madrid Artes Digitales (MAD), The Last Days of Pompeii takes visitors on a journey to the Roman city destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Combining historical storytelling with cutting-edge technology, the exhibition offers a glimpse into everyday life in one of the most fascinating cities of the Roman Empire and allows visitors to experience the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, one of the most dramatic events in history.
With more than 1500 square metres of installations, the exhibition features spectacular 360º immersive projections, virtual reality experiences, interactive spaces, and a selection of historical reproductions and artefacts that transport visitors back to ancient Pompeii.
The production premiered in Madrid in 2023 and received the award for Best History Exhibition in Spain at the +Historia Awards, organised by Historia National Geographic and voted for by its readers.
The exhibition will open on 7 October 2026. Tickets are already on sale, and school groups and other organisations can also make reservations and request information to plan their visits in advance for the upcoming academic year by contacting reservas@bombasgens.com.
